A striking 3 level design, set into a steep hill amidst towering heritage listed trees, required highly original and customised solutions to achieve the build. Using solid, exposed steel girders to cantilever the home off the steep fall, the build also engages a series of expansive steel frameworks and decorative meshwork treads to increase the amount of liveable outdoor space while revealing the bones of the design. Walls of glazing surround the residence while a series of steel staircases and a customised bridge connect numerous indoor and outdoor zones.
